About Dr. Millicent Rovelo
Dr. Millicent Rovelo is a double board-certified Plastic Surgeon specializing in all forms of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery including tummy tucks, breast reduction, and breast augmentation. During your initial consultation with Dr. Rovelo, she will take the time to listen to your concerns and requests.

Dr. Rovelo’s own journey began with an undergraduate degree from the University of California Los Angeles. Dr. Rovelo graduated from UCLA’s rigorous pre-medical program with a degree in Physiologic Science. Dr. Rovelo then went on to pursue her medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC).
From there, she went on to complete a five-year General Surgery residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. After completion of her residency, she became board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Rovelo then returned to Los Angeles to continue her surgical training with a second residency. She was accepted into the highly competitive Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at the University of Southern California (USC). During this residency, she received training in a wide breadth of plastic surgery including aesthetic surgery, reconstructive breast surgery, abdominal reconstruction, hand, and burn surgery. After completion of her Plastic Surgery residency, Dr. Rovelo went on to become board certified in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Rovelo has plastic surgery offices in both Beverly Hills and Whittier, CA. Her Whittier practice is part of the PIH Health System and has a strong emphasis on breast reconstruction and post-bariatric body contouring. Her Beverly Hills practice is a blend of both aesthetic surgery and breast reconstruction surgery. Dr. Rovelo has admitting and surgery privileges at multiple hospitals, including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Providence St. Johns Health Center and PIH Whittier.
Dr. Rovelo is also voluntary staff for the USC Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery resident aesthetic clinic, where she provides oversight and guidance for the resident aesthetic clinics and surgeries. As part of her ongoing focus on education, Dr. Rovelo also cohosts the Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Podcast. Together with her co-host Dr. Jay Calvert, they discuss multiple aspects of plastic surgery including outcomes, potential complications, costs, and benefits.
